SUMMARY

Each team builds a project over the course of one weekend and creates a demo video for their project. The project can be anything that fits the theme of making the world a better place. The event takes place at the Hacker Dojo in Mountain View. You can attend remotely however you will be ineligible to win a prize. Hackathons are a great way to learn more about coding and project building.

Dates: August 25 - 27th 2023

SCHEDULE

Friday: 6pm - 10pm. Form teams and work on your projects.
Saturday: 8am - 10pm. Work on your projects.
Sunday: 8am - 4pm. Work until 2pm, Demos from 2pm to 4pm.

  • Hackathons are a great way to improve your skills. You can practice using a new language, framework, or tool to improve as a software engineer. You can practice planning a project and working as a team. You can even put your project on your resume if you want. :)

We also ask that you make a video that demos your project. That way we can have lots of cool videos come out of the Hackathon.

 

Requirements

* You need to submit a URL that allows us to download or watch a video demo of your project
* The video must be less than eight minutes long
* You must be attending in person to be eligible to win a prize
* You should be clear and upfront about what work you did during the weekend and what work you did beforehand
